Capacity is a non-profit social enterprise that was funded as part of Government plans to stimulate expansion in the role of social enterprise in the provision of health and social care.

We at Capacity are committed to one simple thing - improving the health and lives of all adults who lack or have reduced capacity through better quality services for patients.

Since 2007, when the Mental Capacity Act 2005 was implemented, anybody who is involved in treating, caring for or working with adults who lack or may have reduced capacity have to follow a set of statutory guidelines.  These guidelines aim to empower and protect vulnerable adults as much as possible.

Through guidance and training, we at Capacity will help you to improve the lives and well being of the many vulnerable adults who need our protection and support.
